Slot Machine Myth #6 - The way you pull the lever/push the button is what makes a winner
Back when slot machines first came out they were all mechanical and relied on several factors to work out when to pay. These machines really did take a "knack" to play because you could influence the payouts slightly by playing them just the right way.
Ever since the machines have become computerized that's all gone by the way. This comes back to Myth #3. Now that the slots machines are all computerized they can't tell the difference in how you pull the handle. it's all just a signal from the handle saying 'start game now".
